Is your small business seeking government contracting opportunities? Subcontracting to a larger prime contractor or teaming up with other small businesses can improve your chances of successfully gaining procurement experience, expanding your networks and uncover additional opportunities. American Express OPEN’s most recent government contracting survey found that three-fourths of small business contractors have gained some procurement revenue from subcontracting and/or teaming.

Would you like to get help learning more about partnering with other companies or subcontracting to prime contractors? On July 24th from 3 pm to 4:30pm EST, Denise Rodriguez-Lopez, American Express OPEN Advisor on Teaming, will host a live chat on the American Express OPEN Victory in Procurement group on LinkedIn. The chat will help small businesses learn how partnering with another company can give their business the break it needs to surge ahead. You can get your questions answered live by an expert.

To participate, start by joining the American Express OPEN Victory In Procurement® (VIP) group on LinkedIn. The group is open to anyone, and in addition to the live chat, members have ongoing opportunities to:

  • Post and respond to teaming needs/opportunities
  •  Interact with teaming experts
  • Learn of upcoming government contracting opportunities (on the “Jobs” tab)
  •  Learn about upcoming events
