There’s a bit of a Makers revolution going on—and it’s easy for you to join. Consumers, tired of buying the same old, same old are seeking handmade, artisanal goods  (just look at the success of Etsy) and hungry for artisanal food.

It’s a great time to become a Maker—technology has fueled much of the Maker movement, so the cost of getting started is low. If you have a hobby you think can become a business or you’ve been thinking about how to turn your passions into profits, check out the free ebook, Making it as a Maker: How to Turn Your Passion into Profits written by Jane Applegate and me. Between us we’ve covered every aspect of small business and wanted to share some of our knowledge with you.

Big thanks to the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College—thanks to them we can offer this ebook to you for free.
