Wednesday, October 14, 1:00 p.m. (ET), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) will present a 30-minute, interactive webinar on how innovation can help small businesses succeed.

The webinar is free and open to all small businesses looking for ideas and advice on staying competitive and innovative in today’s market. The speakers are impressive: SBA Administrator Karen G. Mills, Stephen Key, an inventor and founder of inventRight.com, and Steve King, founder of Emergent Research and author of a major study on small business.
In addition, several small businesses who have successfully innovated in their businesses will contribute to the conversation. These include a New Jersey wine retailer using social networking, a California bike entrepreneur who created a new product for parking your bike, and a woman entrepreneur from California who created reusable containers and utensils.
The webinar will employ videos, online polling, Q&As and discuss such topics as:
1. How to recognize innovation when it occurs in your business;
2. The habits of highly successful business owners;
3. New tools to help you stimulate innovation; and
4. How to improve your competitive position in the coming decade.
