makeover

You may want to give your business a makeover to make it look more attractive, but you have to consider the cost and the value. If you’re looking for ways to give your business image an update without spending a fortune, then here are a few ideas.

  1. Update Your Business Cards. You can get business cards printed cheaply and quickly online. A card redesign will let you try new colors, styles and slogans without spending a bundle. They are an effective way to show people that you’ve evolved.
  1. Network with New People. If you’ve been attending the same networking events for years, then it’s time to branch out. Look for events that attract a different audience than you usually interact with, and starting building new relationships. You’ll find that presenting your business to fresh eyes gives you new ideas and a fresh outlook.
  1. Update Your Website. A website refresh gives you the opportunity to present your company in a new way, and attract new customers. It’s relatively inexpensive and can be done in stages to keep it affordable. Think about replacing old images, an updated homepage, or adding a blog. Little things can really payoff and make your business look cutting-edge.
  1. Re-Organize Your Work Space. Consider switching to an open floor plan or installing standing desks to modernize the office and bring new energy to the place. Even something as simple as adding plants or some wall art can make a big difference without costing very much.
  1. Clean Your Place Up. Your store or office could use a good scrubbing. If you’ve got a storefront, then consider getting it pressure washed. Consider Ben’s Cleaner Sales to buy or rent a pressure washer. A good scrubbing will make the place look brand new. You should also consider new paint if needed to make the place look fresh and clean again.
  1. Loosen Up the Dress Code. Some businesses require a suit and tie, but both customers and workers are becoming accustomed to wearing more casual clothes. Keep it as professional as needed, but try to let employees show off their style. Letting employees and yourself express their taste more will lead to a different feeling in the office and different interaction style with customers.

A business makeover doesn’t have to be expensive, but it should change how you appear. Think about the personality of your business and make sure to incorporate it into your changes. Even small things can have a big impact if you’re committed to change.
