The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is a big deal for small business owners and entrepreneurs. As we mentioned earlier this week, it’s a showplace for innovation and offers a sneak peek into the future of how technology in general, and consumer electronics in particular, will transform our business and personal lives.

If you can’t be in Las Vegas with us, you can follow our live stream, where we’ll keep you informed about the latest tech innovations, update you on how Alibaba.com helps you compete in today’s global market and how you can take advantage of Alibaba’s products and services to start and scale your business.

Join us Tuesday, January 9 as we kick off our coverage at 10:30 pm Pacific Time with a preview of the Alibaba.com Design and Sourcing marketplace booth. Then at noon, we’ll be back so you can meet some of Alibaba.com suppliers and see the products they’re exhibiting.

You’ll want to stay tuned, because the presentations and seminars kick off at 1 pm PT. First, you’ll learn about the state of global trade from Kuo Zhang, the General Manager of Alibaba.com and how Alibaba.com can help you start and scale in that arena. This will be followed by a presentation about “Big Data Meets Design & Sourcing.” We’ll wind up the first day of seminars with a panel discussion focusing on the point of view of Alibaba.com users.

After a short break the live stream will be back at 3:30 PT in the booth where you can meet some Alibaba.com suppliers and hear from some Alibaba.com reps. We’ll wrap up day one of CES at 5:30 PT where we’ll talk to conference attendees.

We’ll pick up the live stream from the marketplace booth on Wednesday, January 10, at 9:05 PT for day two at CES. At 10:50 PT you can meet some suppliers and see their products. Then at 12:40 there’s an exclusive interview with a senior leader from Alibaba.com about how the company helps enable SMEs in the consumer electronics industry.

Seminars start at 1:00 PT with Sara Ma, Alibaba.com’s Director of Marketing, talking about innovating global trade. This is followed by an important discussion about how global trade is going mobile, led by Douglas Wang, the Director of Global User Design at Alibaba.com.

At 2:00 PT Sunny Chhabra, Alibaba.com’s Global Marketing Manager will tell you how to select the right supplier (which is crucial for your success), followed by a panel discussion where you can meet and learn from some of Alibaba.com’s suppliers.

We’re back in the booth at 3:00, 4:40 and 5:35 (all times PT) where you can learn more about products and services from Alibaba.com and hear from conference attendees.

The live stream is action-packed on Thursday January 11. We’ll start the day at 9:05 PT in the marketing booth and then head to the brand booth at 9:30 PT. At 10:05 an Alibaba.com senior leader will offer some industry insights about how Alibaba.com can help small and mid-size businesses succeed in the consumer electronics industry.

At 10:25 PT, join us as we travel through the Las Vegas Convention Center talking to CES attendees. We’re back in the marketplace booth at 10:50 PT talking to some Alibaba.com suppliers. At 12:20 PT we’ll discuss CES trends, highlighting some of the products being featured at the show. If you missed the seminars on Wednesday, don’t worry—the topics repeat on Thursday, with the new live presentations starting at 1:00 PT. From 3:00-4:00 PT, we’re back at the marketplace and brand booths interviewing Alibaba.com reps. We’ll wrap our day from 5:00-6:00 PT talking to CES attendees.
