Small business owners in the throes of growth often feel isolated. There’s often no one to share challenges with (we don’t want to burden our employees, or worry our families). That’s why it’s especially helpful to be able to meet and learn from other small business owners and experts.

Luckily there are more opportunities to do just that. Web.com is launching a Small Business Forum, in conjunction with the PGA Tour, kicking off September 11 in Boise, Idaho. The free forum focuses on helping small business owners market their businesses online, and will cover topics ranging from increasing Web traffic to the elements of building an effective website, to marketing on Google, Facebook and Twitter. To reserve a seat you should pre-register now.

You’ll also want to check out the Create. Work. Inspire: Business Edition Workshops, a new collaboration between computer giant Dell and Manta, an online community of small business owners. The first Dell and Manta workshop is set for September 14 in Miami, then the series heads to Los Angeles in November. The interactive sessions will feature expert speakers on business innovation and other challenges in business growth. You’ll also have opportunities to network with other small business owners, including a cocktail hour networking session featuring treats from local businesses.

Another highlight of this Dell and Manta collaboration is the selection of the “Small Business of the Week.” One lucky entrepreneur will win a Manta premium business listing for one year and be featured on the Manta.com website, giving them exposure to millions of other small businesses in the Manta community. Registration information will be announced here.
