If you’re like most small business owners, you know it’s important to set measurable goals for your business, monitor results and track your progress. But with so many key performance indicators (KPIs) to keep track of, from Facebook engagement to weekly sales and website traffic, who has time to diligently visit Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics, etc., etc. every day to see how your business is doing?

More than half (51 percent) of small business owners admit they aren’t tracking their business metrics as frequently as they should, according to a survey by Staples. About one-third aren’t holding themselves accountable by regularly comparing their marketing and financial measurements against their business goals. To help small business owners get a grip on their KPIs, Staples has developed a new app called Quick Wins that makes monitoring your business progress simple.

Just download the free Quick Wins app, available for both iOS and Android devices, and sign up for an account. The app pulls in and syncs your key business metrics, such as your website traffic, Facebook and Twitter engagement, and financial data from QuickBooks, so you can view them all in one place. (Staples plans to add Instagram and MailChimp at a later date.)

As a business owner with multiple websites, a strong social media presence and no spare time, I’m definitely the target audience for Quick Wins. I gave it a spin, and really liked how it pulled all my analytics into one place for easy viewing. You can track your metrics daily and weekly, so you’re always on top of things. And because it’s a mobile app, Quick Wins is easy to use wherever you are and whenever you happen to have a moment.

But Quick Wins goes a couple steps further. Based on the state of your business metrics, the app provides tailored advice and ideas to help strengthen your business. You can also get support, feedback and suggestions from a community of other small business owners using Quick Wins. To keep conversations focused and productive, the community will concentrate on topics related to the key metrics that Quick Wins measures. Everything takes place in the app—simple, right?

Easy, all-in-one and customized for my business—sounds like a win-win to me.
