From biotech to communications, if your business is in a high-growth industry, you’re looking for investment and you’re women-led, you’ll want to point your browser in the direction of the Springboard: Venture Forum 2011. Springboard is a nonprofit organization whose platform is designed to help promote, showcase and connect investment-ready women-led business with investors, experts and other entrepreneurs. Through May 2, Springboard is looking for women-led companies at all stages of business growth to apply for their 2011 Venture Forum program. The program consists of relationship building exercises and a business assessment program including interviews, a business boot and an opportunity to present to investors.

To apply your company needs to have:

  • A woman in a key management position with a significant equity stake.
  • A qualified and profitable market opportunity with competitive advantage
  • A track record of milestone achievement, which may include: grants, beta clients, revenue, partners, etc.
  • A credible core management team or the ability to attract one

There is a $50 application fee and if selected a $1,000 program fee. Check the FAQ for more details and apply online.
