We’ve got two great resources to tell you about today and the best news is they’re working together to bring you much-needed information and services. Square, a business service that allows anyone to accept credit cards on their phone or iPad, and our friends at SCORE, a nationwide small business mentoring and support organization, have joined forces to offer a “how to” resource to help small businesses better understand how to manage their mobile business needs.
For those who want to understand the complexities (or simplicity) of taking mobile payments and the importance of tracking inventory to better manage their business, Square will sponsor a new eGuide on the SCORE website, available June 1, 2011 for download.
Square requires no contract, monthly fee or merchant account. The cost is 2.75% per swipe. You can download the free app from the Android Market or iTunes App Store.
