Verizon just announced Google Apps for Verizon, which now adds popular Google services to the Verizon platform, including helping small businesses select and register a domain name, personalize their e-mail address with the domain name, and more. In addition, to help small businesses boost their productivity, they’ve added cloud-based computing so owners and employees can access their information from any computer or mobile device.
And since it’s Google, Verizon customers will get Google’s Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Sites. It’s all bundled with their other Verizon services such as Internet, voice and television and allows customers to access the services all in one place (and get one bill). By the way, Verizon also offers Internet security and backup solutions.
