Want to read classic business books like Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War,” or new need-to-knows like Chris Anderson’s “The Long Tail,” but don’t have time to slog through a lengthy tome? Then you’ll want to know about SmarterComics.com. The company’s founder, Franco Arda, is on a mission to turn business books into easy-to-read comic form.

Arda told BusinessNewsDaily the books will average 60 to 70 pages, take 30 to 40 minutes to read and cost $12.95 in print. SmarterComics is also releasing e-book versions, some of which will be free.

What’s the thinking behind the comic book concept? Arda wanted to make reading fun and present information in a simpler form. (Any entrepreneur with a stack of unread business books next to his or her bed can relate, right?)

Arda told BusinessNewsDaily he’s not much of a comics fan–but if you are, you’ll be glad to know the books are illustrated by some big names in the comic book world. Now, you can enjoy feeling like a kid again…while still keeping up on the latest business concepts.
