The first buck, or first sale, your company makes is a pivotal point in the life of your business. That first dollar validates all of your efforts toward making a dream a reality. It signifies a need in the marketplace that you’ve been able to fill. And receiving your first customer feedback allows you to continue to reimagine your concept and grow.
As an entrepreneur or small business owner, you’re always looking forward to the next horizon. You don’t always take the time to stop and celebrate those significant milestones, like the first buck. That’s why we’re launching First Buck Stories, a movement to encourage entrepreneurs to share stories about what motivated them to become entrepreneurs, how they made their first sale, and what inspires them to keep moving forward.
Before launching Hatchbuck, we went business to business, speaking to entrepreneurs and owners. Many of them had that first buck framed on the wall. And a lot of them agreed that the first buck is challenging to make, but making more bucks can be even harder. That’s why we think our mission of helping small businesses to grow is so important at Hatchbuck.
